Join us on the 75th annual National Day of Prayer, Thursday, May 7th from 10a-11:30am at First Baptist Church 428 W. Cota Street in Downtown Shelton. Mason County Sheriff Ryan Spurling will direct our time together with inspiring speakers, music, buffet brunch and prayer.
It is a significant year, the 250th of our Constitutional Republic. May 7th, the first Thursday in May, marks 75 consecutive years in prayer as a nation. This will be a special opportunity to pray together for God's grace and healing in our families, in our community and in our nation. Seating is limited, please register today to save your seat. $7 suggested donation.
The buffet will include vegetarian and gluten free options with handmade crepes, croissant sandwiches (turkey, swiss cheese and greens), fruit, eggs, sauteed vegetables, sausage and yogurt; with coffee, tea and fruited water.
Speakers will share our historic Christian roots and call us back to the Word of God and prayer. Music includes vocalist Sharon Jacot singing 'America The Beautiful' and 'I Speak Jesus'. There will be times of prayer where attendees may pray privately or in pairs of 2 or more.
We hope you can join us for this memorable time together as we petition God and gather in faith. FMI email: prayer@sheltonfbc.org
